GuitarGirls.com was founded by Dean Markley, SPG Guitars and Goodsell Amps endorsed singer/songwriter/guitarist, Lynn Carey Saylor, in an effort to showcase and promote her talented female artist peers she has discovered on the Internet alongside her own music.  GuitarGirls.com is always a upper 1st page search result in the world's most popular search engine (Google) for the keywords "Female Guitarists".

The "back pages" of GuitarGirls.com, which include past interviews with prominent GuitarGirls (Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders and Lisa Loeb to name a couple), useful tools like a guitar chord finder, instructional recommendations, featured albums, a music player with featured songs, digital downloads and much more are currently offline temporarily while we re-build a new site.

During our rebuilding process, we are accepting new "GuitarGirls" for promotion and possible inclusion on one of our upcoming digital download albums that will be available through this site in various genres.  You WILL earn money from the sale of your music at GuitarGirls.com! There will be no free downloading of your songs unless you specifically give us permission for that in conjunction with a special artist feature.  Please read the information below and if your music fits what we are looking for, please email the URL to what you feel is your best song to guitargirlsubmissions@gmail.com. If we select your music, you will be sent details on how much you will be paid if your music is downloaded, method of payment and other details.

We look for well-recorded and produced music, in-pitch vocals and engaging songwriting in ALL genres.  If you are an amazing female instrumental guitarist and it is ALL you playing on the track you submit, we would be interested in hearing that as well. Please do not submit songs which a female guitarist or bassist is playing on, but has MALE lead vocals, even if the female guitarist is a writer or co-writer of the song.
